Job Summary
Assistant Principal responsible for directing and managing instructional programs and campus operations; oversee assigned student activities and services. Requires a Master's degree, a Texas principal certificate (or other appropriate Texas certification), and T-TESS appraiser credential. Three years of successful classroom teaching experience. Skills include knowledge of campus operations, curriculum and instruction, ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness, budget and personnel management, policy/procedure implementation, data interpretation, and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Work schedule is 207 days. Salary identified as Pay Grade 5 on the Administrative/Professional Hiring Schedule. Location: Montgomery Jr. High, Montgomery, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university
- Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified Texas Teacher Support and Evaluation System (T-TESS) appraiser
- Three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
