Job Summary
Assistant Principal at Los Alamos Middle School working as the administrative leader in the absence of the principal, evaluating teaching skills and staff performance, coordinating attendance and discipline, collaborating with counselors to support students, conducting NMTEACH/Oasys staff evaluations, coordinating standardized testing with site test coordinators, developing and tracking MAP schedules, planning school events, attending IEP and SAT meetings, ensuring safety procedures and emergency drills, and supervising instructional staff while partnering with the Principal and Educational Leadership Team on the EPSS and related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current NM Administrative License
- Educational License as a teacher or related field from New Mexico Public Education Department.
