Job Summary
Assist the school principal in overall administration of the instructional program and campus-level operations; coordinate assigned student activities and services. Responsibilities include instructional management, development and evaluation of educational programs, promoting positive school climate, coordinating campus support operations, supervising staff, interviewing and orienting new staff, developing and implementing class schedules and extracurricular activities, monitoring student attendance, coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services, and ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and board policy. Requires Master’s degree (or current enrollment in a Master’s program) with full administrator certification and Texas administrator certification; two years of classroom teaching experience; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse populations. Supervisory responsibilities are shared with the principal. Location: Waco, Texas; Full-time exempt position.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or current enrollment in program leading to Master's degree and full administrator's certification
- Texas assistant principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)
