Job Summary
Assistant Principal at a High School providing leadership in curriculum/instruction (including CTAE), supervision of academic performance and discipline, staff evaluation and selection, attendance and data reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders to support student success. Responsibilities include acting in the principal's absence, conducting faculty meetings and events, participating in district-wide initiatives, and overseeing compliance and reporting. Requires Master’s degree and leadership certification with multiple Georgia leadership requirements, at least three years of teaching experience, and operating as a grade 30, 225-day position in Atlanta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree required
- Standard Professional Educational Leadership – Tier I certificate or a Standard or Performance-Based Professional Educational Leadership – Tier II certificate
- Completion or exemption of all applicable Special Georgia Requirements at the time of application
- Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience required
