Job Summary
Assistant Principal / Community & Inclusion Coordinator in Lindenwold School District oversees districtwide diversity, equity, and inclusive programming, and serves as liaison between the school and community to promote culturally sensitive and responsive practices. The role includes coordinating the district’s Strategic Equity Plan, leading DEI initiatives, managing anti-bullying and Title IX responsibilities, supervising district DEI and Parent Committees, assisting in recruitment of a diverse workforce, and ensuring compliance with NJDOE mandates. Requires NJ DOE Principal's Certificate and a minimum of five years in a school district, with strong written, oral, interpersonal, and analytical skills, and ability to coach and mentor staff while fostering relationships with faculty, students, families, and community partners. Responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering district-wide education and training on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and for coordinating programs that address needs of historically marginalized groups; performs duties within the contingent framework of a 12-month employment term and reports to the Director of Curriculum and Superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- NJ DOE Principal's Certificate
- Minimum of five years professional experience in a school district setting
- Detail oriented and employs exceptional writing, oral, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Must be able to coach, mentor, and inspire colleagues
- Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, students, and the broader community
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience employing mediation and/or conflict resolution skills
- Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board of Education may deem appropriate

- Experience with data analysis to improve equity and student outcomes
- Ability to work as a district liaison between schools and the community
- Experience with anti-bullying programs and related reporting systems
- Experience with district equity plans and comprehensive equity planning
