Job Summary
Assistant Principal at Boiling Springs High School leading with the principal to oversee and continuously improve the school's instructional program; responsible for informing the principal of conditions and needs, planning and evaluating educational programs, supporting staff development, supervising teachers and students, recruiting and interviewing prospective teachers, ensuring placement and services for students with special needs, managing school facilities and finances per purchasing procedures, and maintaining positive relationships with community groups to support student objectives and programs. Requires advanced degree (Master’s or higher) and at least five years of classroom teaching experience plus a minimum of two years in public school administration; valid SC teaching credential in principal/supervisor area; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work with school and district staff and to operate general office equipment. Occasional local and overnight travel may be required.
