Job Summary
Oversee instructional programs and campus operations specifically for at-risk students, utilizing campus data to evaluate educational effectiveness and recommend improvements. Support teachers, specialists, and administrators in identifying, preventing, and intervening for students meeting state-defined criteria to increase academic achievement and reduce dropout rates. Promote a positive learning climate by communicating with students and staff, while assisting the principal in developing class schedules, teacher assignments, and extracurricular plans. Monitor PEIS coding, verify student attendance, and manage discipline systems to ensure equitable rule enforcement. Provide supervision for professional staff, coordinate safety inspections, and solicit community support to align with the school's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited College or University
- Valid Texas Assistant Principal or other Administrative certification
- Three years' experience as a classroom teacher
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience as a campus administrator
