Job Summary
Provide instructional leadership to maintain high standards of student achievement, including managing data analysis and supporting new teachers through Induction. Assist in managing human resources, selecting top performers, and coaching staff while overseeing daily operations, facilities, safety, and administrative processes. Represent the school site by building relationships with families, community groups, and sponsoring districts, and lead projects such as strategic planning, instructional improvements, and charter renewal. Manage all site functions including education programs, budgets, and personnel in collaboration with other Principals and Home Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years working with urban students as a full-time teacher
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or Ph.D. in Education
- Administrative Credential
- 7+ years teaching and administrative experience
- Demonstrated commitment to students and learning
- Experience with instructional leadership, including demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and developing teachers
- Excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills
- High sense of urgency
- Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work as a team
