Job Summary
Assistant Principal for Academics at Cascade Christian Schools leads instructional coaching, faculty mentoring, and professional development, coordinating student support, grade/lesson-plan oversight, and school operations to maintain CCS standards. The role collaborates with junior high and high school principals, the dean of students, and program leads to uphold student behavioral expectations, eligibility standards, and a spiritually-centered, academically rigorous curriculum. The position emphasizes teamwork, availability to students for extra help, and leadership in curriculum design and school operations within a Christ-centered K-12 setting. Qualifications include a Master's degree, 5+ years teaching junior high/high school, strong operational knowledge, effective communication and relationship-building skills, CPR/First-aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and background check clearance. Start date August 3, 2026; hours Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4:30 pm; salary $70,283–$80,283 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Five-plus years of experience in teaching junior high and high school students
- Strong knowledge of junior high and high school operations
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to establish meaningful relationships with all students
- Ability to work with faculty to nurture collaboration and growth
- Ability to lead employee teams and manage individual employees
- Ability to design and implement an innovative, engaging curriculum in the content area
- First-aid and CPR-certified or willing to receive and pass certification training
- Background check clearance
- Agree with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statement and Statement of Faith
