Job Summary
Assistant Principal responsibilities include providing leadership to maintain a safe and effective learning environment, overseeing all school operations and functions, hiring and supervising faculty and staff, aligning instructional programs with district guidelines, fostering professional development, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and district regulations. Requires a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (or related field), certification in Educational Leadership/Administration, and experience in school-based administration or teaching; must be in the Assistant Principal Pool. Demonstrated capacity to lead, supervise personnel, and support district strategic goals is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- Certification in Educational Leadership, School Principal or Professional School Principal, or Administration and Supervision
- Three years' experience in classroom teaching and/or school-based administration or equivalent experience
- Must be in the Assistant Principal Pool
Desired Qualifications
