Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while monitoring their progress and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Shift runs 11-6 M-F. Starting pay is $19.00/hour. Montessori Country Day School is part of the Endeavor Schools family, which operates over 100 schools across 14 states.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddlers and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- 12 Child Development Units
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Patience
