Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare learning materials, and supervise children during activities, meals, and naptime to ensure a safe environment. Help lead innovative learning activities that promote development, monitor student progress, and maintain a harmonious atmosphere for children and staff. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while fostering a nurturing attitude toward young learners. This role supports educators in Montessori Country Day School, part of Endeavor Schools' network of 100+ locations, with a focus on creating a positive learning environment for students.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddlers and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- 12 Child Development Units
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Patience
