Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor each child's progress and create a harmonious environment where students and fellow teachers enjoy coming to school daily. Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during meals and naptime to maintain a safe and positive learning space. Starting hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 depending on education and experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
