Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement. Prepare classroom materials, ensure a safe and clean environment, and supervise individualized support for students while fostering a sense of belonging. Communicate with families regarding daily progress and adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations. Perform daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning environment. This role requires a high school diploma, previous experience in licensed childcare, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Basic understanding of child development
