Assistant Preschool Teacher

Collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to operate a Head Start classroom for 3- to 5-year-olds, maintaining a child-centered curriculum and learning environment that fosters positive social interaction and development. Address challenging behaviors through observation and preventive strategies, document progress with observations/notes, and partner with families to support the child at home. CDA credentials (or willingness to enroll and complete within two years), or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any field (or current enrollment in a related program) are acceptable qualifications. Location: Milwaukee, WI.
