Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher with daily childcare activities, classroom management, and documentation for children in center-based and home-based settings. Support the team by completing required paperwork and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for children's growth. Must hold a CDA, NYS Teacher Assistant Certification Level 1, and DASA Certificate, with Spanish language skills preferred. This 12-month, eight-hour role is based in the Queens, Brooklyn, and Bronx communities for Be Above Worldwide Institute Inc., a nonprofit providing comprehensive educational services.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a CDA, an associate degree, or a bachelor's Degree
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certification Level 1 (ATAS)
- DASA Certificate
- School Violence Certificate
- Must be willing to assist the Lead Teacher with paperwork
- Must be a team player
