Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare learning materials, and supervise children during activities, meals, and naptime to ensure a safe environment. Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development, monitor their progress, and maintain a harmonious setting where students and teachers thrive. Prioritize the safety and well-being of children at all times while fostering a nurturing atmosphere for young learners. Starting pay is $16.00 to $18.50 hourly, with childcare tuition discounts and career development programs available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- Patience
- A nurturing attitude
- A sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners
Desired Qualifications
- CDA/ECT certification preferred
