Job Summary
Coordinate transportation and material-moving activities by assisting with loading/unloading vehicles, operating heavy equipment, and driving machines to complete work assignments. Direct workers on safety protocols, enforce regulatory compliance, and plan equipment allocations to meet production requirements. Estimate storage needs, examine cargo for defects, and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles or elevated platforms. Prepare operational reports using Microsoft Office and recommend improvements to work methods and safety expectations. Work Monday through Friday during production or maintenance shifts, with Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to wear a half mask respirator meeting OSHA guidelines based on 1910.134(g)(1)(i)
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and under time constraints
