Job Summary
Assist in production operations at the Odessa, TX ChampionX SLB plant within the Chemical Technologies group. Learn and perform blending, reacting, and packaging of products; operate pumps, mixers, and automation control systems; conduct forklift duties as needed; ensure safety initiatives and ISO compliance; enter production tickets, goods receipts, and shipping documentation; perform daily inspections, maintain housekeeping, and support inventory processes; report to Production Team Leads and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a compliant, efficient operation. The role supports ongoing safety and training programs and contributes to production quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and perform squatting and bending activities
- Ability to wear respirator and work in manufacturing environment
- Experience operating in a batch or specialty chemical manufacturing plant preferred (not strictly required)
- Forklift operation certification preferred
- HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate core business programs
