Job Summary
Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping in accordance with established policies. Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees while reviewing production costs and product quality to enhance profitable operations. Ensure employee safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and oversee overall maintenance and housekeeping of plant facilities. Manage subordinate shift supervisors responsible for hourly production employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, appraising performance, and resolving problems. Salary range $85,000-$105,000 with profit-sharing and bonus programs. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, flexible spending, and PTO. Located in Hagerstown, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.)
- two years' related supervisory/management experience
- training in the wood treating or lumber industry
- equivalent combination of education and experience
