Job Summary
Assistant Plant Manager oversees aggregate production operations including dragline and raw material handling to finished product processing. Sets production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing, and volume to meet demand while ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance. Leads safety culture, manages day-to-day operations of the group in an aggregate production environment to produce quality material cost-effectively, follows established procedures, resolves production-related issues, coordinates daily activities of the production team, and identifies improvement opportunities. Requires independent judgment, a collaborative, team-based attitude, and dragline operation experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent education plus minimum experience of 3 years as a Plant Supervisor, Mining Engineer, or Assistant Plant Manager of an aggregate or industrial minerals processing facility.
