Job Summary
Assistant Plant Director based in Londonderry, NH, accountable for overall execution of the plant's production areas including warehouse, scheduling, processing, and filling/packing; lead capital and technology projects to improve reliability and consumer satisfaction; provide strong leadership to management including hiring, performance reviews, and coaching; foster a positive, engaged team environment; ensure operational objectives are met through monitoring performance, implementing continuous improvement, and ensuring quality and safety goals in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards; provide regular financial KPIs and productivity reviews; participates in Lactalis’ executive pathway with relocation support and onboarding to advance toward future Plant Director roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years dairy or food processing experience
- Experience in production management and planning
- Experience with continuous improvement
- Knowledge of OSHA, Food Safety, FDA, USDA, ISO, and related certifications (FSSC, ISO 9001)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Financial planning and management
- Analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
