Assistant Physical Therapist

PRN Staff Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists; duties include treating patients per treatment plan, recording clinical documentation and charges per approved billing guidelines, instructing families and nursing staff regarding restorative/home programs, and communicating patient progress to the supervisor and health team. Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings, continuing education, and facility performance improvement programs is required. Travel or float between facilities is expected as determined by supervisor and patient needs. Ensures adherence to Medicare and other reimbursement regulations and maintains productivity standards. Works in well-lighted therapy spaces, with exposure to blood/body fluids, and supports coordination with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments within Rehab.
