Job Summary
As an Assistant Personal Training Manager, you will support a high-performance culture, manage a team of trainers, and help achieve client retention and acquisition targets. Responsibilities include coaching team members, conducting client onboarding, generating personal training leads, and ensuring administrative efficiency of PT services. Candidates should have CPR/AED certification, experience in management, and certification in a nationally accredited program. Physical fitness knowledge and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Certification required in one or more approved Nationally Accredited Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist, American Council on Exercise (ACE), Personal Trainer Certification, The Cooper Institute, Personal Trainer Certification, International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA), Personal Fitness Trainer Certification, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), Personal Fitness Trainer Certification, National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), Personal Trainer Certification, National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), International Sports Sciences Association (with NCCA accreditation), Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
- Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of personal training experience preferred
- Prior management experience leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
- Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
