Job Summary
Assist with empowering and educating Douglas County residents on healthcare decisions, support education programs and initiatives, plan, organize, and participate in healthcare education events, create content for programs and social media, manage and update online presence, report program outcomes, foster community partnerships, and collaborate with DCHD programs and grants. Must communicate effectively, engage diverse populations, adapt to a hybrid in-office/remote schedule, and be flexible for evenings and weekends. Responsibilities emphasize event coordination, stakeholder engagement, program reporting, and content creation across outreach efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (in-office and remote)
- Strong communication skills including public speaking and active listening
- Ability to build rapport with professionals and agencies
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- May be required to complete community health worker’s certification after hire
