Job Summary
The G. Raymond Chang Professor in Mature Womens Health will develop and lead research in mature womens health (focusing on perimenopause and/or menopause), provide mentorship and clinical training, and foster trainee research. The holder will hold an academic Clinician Scientist position and be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor, with an initial five-year term and potential renewal. The role involves leadership at national and international levels to advance research strategies addressing mature womens health, collaboration across departments and TAHSN partners, curriculum modernization and expansion at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribution to curriculum development, clinical training, and fellow mentoring. The incumbent will also pursue community initiatives such as a City-Wide Mature Womens Health Consortium and explore a virtual care platform for Mature Womens Health. Preference will be given to candidates with interest in leveraging artificial intelligence and virtual health to enhance care. The remuneration is $120,000 per annum plus additional support from Sinai Health for secretarial, nursing and statistical services. Based at Mount Sinai Hospital, the appointee will join the Sinaihealth academic practice plan and receive commensurate support.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ontario
- certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent qualifications
