Job Summary
The McGill University Department of Pediatric Surgery invites applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position as an Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) in Pediatric Urology. Candidates are expected to engage in undergraduate and graduate clinical teaching, manage pediatric urologic care, and participate in scholarly activities. A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential. In addition to clinical work, clinician-scientist applicants should be prepared to devote at least 50% of their time to research and secure external funding. The position demands a demonstrated ability to supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students effectively.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for licensure in Quebec
- Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
- Bilingual in French and English preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Urology
- Advanced research degree (PhD or equivalent post-graduate research experience)
- Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery
