Job Summary
Read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures to meet production standards. Assist the Extruder Operator and Lead Operator in preparing assets, operating equipment, and monitoring parameters like temperature, tension, and pressure to ensure quality. Load, unload, and transport materials using lift trucks while maintaining a three-year certification. Prepare raw materials and packaging supplies, then label and store finished goods. Perform cleaning and operational maintenance to reduce downtime. Adhere to safety protocols, report unsafe conditions, and communicate effectively with peers. Demonstrate time management and a continuous improvement mindset. Work Monday through Wednesday and every other Sunday from 6:45 PM to 7 AM with a $1 per hour shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read production tickets
- Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Sunday, 6:45PM to 7AM
