Job Summary
Administer store operations, organizing receipts, issues, inspections, accounting, and safe storage of materials while assisting in maintaining inventory valuation systems. Monitor workload to plan efficient resource and storage space utilization, ensuring inventory accuracy to minimize loss, damage, or deterioration. Maintain inspection of incoming materials to verify quality and specification before releasing them to production. Highlight material shortages to initiate necessary actions and coordinate with the Port Authority, Purchasing, and Shipping departments on delivery status. Comply with all relevant EHS management policies to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Requires a Diploma, 2–3 years as a Senior Store man, and proficiency in SAP, MS Windows, bar coding systems, and mobile equipment including forklifts.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in a relevant area
- Good command of spoken and written English
- 2 – 3 years as a Senior Store man
- Good knowledge of Computer systems such as SAP and MS Windows for Warehouse system
- Good knowledge of Bar Coding System – HHT (Hand Held Terminals / Scanners)
- Good knowledge of Hand tools for unpacking / packing packages
- Good knowledge of Mobile equipment, i.e. Forklift, Pick-up, Van and Personnel Carrier
- Proficiency in the operation of all tools and equipment associated with Warehousing functions
