Job Summary
Assist the Office Manager to ensure the dealership operates efficiently by handling financial and administrative tasks, driving efficiency and cost reductions, and supporting month-end and day-to-day financial activities. Responsibilities include recording and submitting company card usage, maintaining schedules for dealership franchises, bank deposits, posting invoices (PID) and parts billing, reconciling statements, reporting funding on bank contracts, managing checking and clearing accounts, compiling statistical data for month-end financial statements, maintaining knowledge of dealership software, providing vacation/back-up coverage for the Office Manager, and upholding confidentiality, OSHA requirements, SDS information, and safety standards. The role requires organizational and interpersonal skills, strong accounting and financial knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ADP, and CDK; occasional extended hours and weekend commitments may apply. Supervisory duties are not part of this position.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One-year related experience required
- Automotive sales and customer service experience required
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- Accounting degree preferred
