Job Summary
Support the Nursing Home Administrator in ensuring delivery of the highest quality of care to patients and residents by leading strategic initiatives for patient and resident services, community outreach, and key industry relationships. Initiate and implement innovative facility-wide planning to attain 5 Star rating status while managing resources for all aspects of services. Organize facility functions through departmentalization and delegation, assist with effective utilization of physical and financial resources, and review reports from authorized inspecting agencies. Maintain responsible accounting systems including budget and internal controls, and aid in continuing programs for formal and informal education in health care and management. Assist with recruitment, selection, and retention of department managers, empowering employees to perform at their highest level through a participative management style. Ensure a continuous quality improvement program is in place with appropriate follow-up, manage key staff to accomplish mission goals, and ensure effective communication among supervisors, residents, families, and health care professionals. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university
- License to practice Health Care Administration in Long Term Care – NHA
- Completed AIT
- Bachelor's or Master Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare/Long-Term Care Administration, Nursing, or Social Work
- 5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Enrolled in Long-Term Care Administration Courses
- Expectation of receiving a Nursing Home Administrator's License within one year of hire date
- Nursing Home Administrator
- Completed AIT
