Job Summary
Support the Nursing Home Administrator in ensuring delivery of the highest quality of care to patients and residents by leading strategic initiatives for patient and resident services. Lead community outreach, develop key industry relationships, and initiate facility-wide planning to attain 5 Star rating status. Organize facility functions through departmentalization and delegation while assisting with the effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Review reports from authorized inspecting agencies, maintain responsible accounting systems, and aid in continuing education programs. Assist with recruitment, selection, and retention of department managers, empowering staff through participative management styles. Ensure a continuous quality improvement program is in place and manage key staff to accomplish mission goals. Effective communication among supervisors, residents, families, and health care professionals is required. Driving for company business may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university
- License to practice Health Care Administration in Long Term Care – NHA
- Completed AIT
- Bachelor's or Master Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare/Long-Term Care Administration, Nursing, or Social Work
- 5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Enrolled in Long-Term Care Administration Courses
- Expectation of receiving a Nursing Home Administrator's License within one year of hire date
- Nursing Home Administrator
- Completed AIT
