Assistant Nurse

Assess and implement nursing care for patients while ensuring a patient-centered approach. Assist with activities of daily living, including meal distribution and hygiene needs, and report significant condition changes to the registered nurse immediately. Respond to all emergency levels per organizational policies and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care management. Manage communication and documentation, including electronic medical records, and ensure exam rooms and clinic areas are stocked and prepared. Gathers patient records regarding medications and allergies, maintains confidentiality, and provides comprehensive health information to patients and families. This role operates in an outpatient setting, involving interactions such as greeting, rooming, vital signs, and preparing patients for exams. Requires a minimum of two years in a similar health setting, a Diploma of Nursing, current national license, and BLS certification.
