Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) - In-Patient Burn @ Cobb Hospital

Job Summary

Lead the assistant nurse manager of the in-patient burn unit by supporting the nurse manager in achieving clinical and financial goals while managing human and material resources. Engage staff in decision-making through shared governance, hold team members accountable for performance standards, and model professional practice to foster recruitment and retention. Collaborate with physicians and departments to promote patient-centered care, implement evidence-based practices, and monitor fiscal outcomes. Assist with budget development, participate in performance reviews and coaching, and ensure compliance with Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and accreditation standards. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, RN license, and minimum three years of clinical experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Nursing or Masters Nursing
  • RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
  • BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • manage the design and delivery of care that in based on evidence and focused on quality and safety
