Assistant Nurse Manager (RN), Emergency Department, Full-Time, Nights (HiringImmediately)

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care. Demonstrate clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices in assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. Incorporate knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process while identifying unit and organizational priorities. Assess and recognize changes in patient status, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, and identify realistic goals for discharge. Provide direct care to assigned patients consistent with the RN scope of practice, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality of care continuously. Perform assigned performance improvement monitoring audits and evaluate opportunities for quality improvement. Schedule includes nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work. Requires current RN license with one year of experience or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program.
