Job Summary
Coordinator of patient care and staffing for the PACU/pre-op/post-op, overseeing personnel, equipment, budgeting, and care plans. Leads and evaluates nursing staff, participates in departmental budgeting, ensures adherence to planned interventions across age groups, and communicates with surgeons/anesthesiologists to support complex surgical procedures. Role involves supervisory responsibilities, payroll coordination, staffing decisions, performance evaluations, and developing action plans to meet department goals. Must hold a BSN and RN license; preferred experience includes charge/supervisor roles and 5-10 years of related nursing leadership.
