Job Summary
Translate organizational priorities into unit plans, coordinate staffing, and monitor patient care quality to ensure safe, effective operations. Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to nursing staff while leading huddles and facilitating clear communication across shifts. Monitor outcomes using data to drive performance improvement, risk mitigation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Manage conflict resolution, attendance, and succession planning in alignment with labor agreements and HR policies. Assist with productivity monitoring, supply utilization, and cost-effective resource stewardship. Requires a BSN, two years of clinical experience with leadership responsibilities, and an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years of relevant clinical nursing experience in a related specialty, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Leadership/specialty certification (e.g., NE-BC, CNML, or clinical specialty) within two (2) years of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Additional clinical certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP)
