Job Summary
Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a Registered Nurse who supports the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services across assigned shifts. Responsibilities include managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers, ensuring compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, coaching and mentoring staff, and collaborating with the director/manager to deliver high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes leadership, operational oversight, and presence across shifts within Providence Alaska Medical Center. Requires BS/BSN and Alaska RN license with BLS certification; preferred experience includes acute care, charge/relief charge nursing, leadership, and Shared Governance involvement. The position is full-time and on-site with compensation details governed by a wage range.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Graduate from School of nursing (BS or BSN)
