Job Summary
Manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shifts by utilizing the nursing process to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate unit services. Support the director/manager in providing managerial presence for all shifts while coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with caregivers to deliver quality health care. Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and unit policies. This leadership role reports to the unit director at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. The position requires a Registered Nurse with an Alaska license and BLS certification, offering a full-time day shift in Anchorage, Alaska.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate from School of nursing (BS or BSN)
- Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
