Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

Manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shifts by utilizing the nursing process to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate services. Support the unit director/manager in delivering quality health care to patients while coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with clinical and non-clinical caregivers. Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and unit policies and processes. Provide managerial presence for all shifts and contribute performance evaluation input to leadership. This role reports to the unit director/manager within the Surgery department at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center.
