Job Summary
Manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shifts in the operating room while supporting the unit director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services. Provide managerial presence for all shifts and utilize the nursing process to oversee patient care. Requires an Alaska Registered Nurse License and BLS certification. Full-time schedule with multiple shifts available. Located at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and Graduate from School of nursing (BS or BSN)
- Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
- Leadership experience
- Shared Governance experience
