Job Summary
Coordinate patient care and personnel management in the Operating Room setting; manage staffing, payroll, budgeting, staff development, and implementation of care plans with a focus on achieving department goals. Lead and evaluate staff performance, hire/train, assign work, and ensure adherence to policies. Role works in a safety-sensitive environment and involves collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists to support complex procedures and continuous improvement in nursing care. Education: Bachelor's in Nursing; Licensure: RN; Experience: 2-5 years; Hours: 1100–2100 shifts, Monday–Friday, shared call; Organization: Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Magnet-certified, advanced nursing care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN license
- 2-5 years experience in nursing leadership or management
- Experience supervising or coordinating nursing staff
