Assistant Nurse Manager - OB Float Pool

Oversee patient care outcomes, service excellence, and staffing in the Good Samaritan Hospital OB Float Pool while partnering with the Nurse Manager for 24-hour leadership. Assist in formulating clinical policies, coordinate patient care on designated shifts, and manage the nursing unit in the absence of the nurse manager. Lead recruitment and retention efforts by interviewing, hiring, and coordinating staff orientation, while coaching and mentoring team members through performance feedback. Conduct daily or weekly huddles, round on team members, and lead monthly meetings to cascade leadership messages and recognize safety wins. Support annual planning and fiscal stewardship to advance departmental and organizational strategic goals.
