Job Summary
Assistant Nurse Manager for the Neonatal ICU responsible for coordinating patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, budgeting and payroll, staffing planning, and performance evaluation. Oversees direct reports, lead nurse leaders, and participates in on-call and weekend/h holiday rotation. Night shift requires a 12-hour night once a week (7pm–7am). Requires RN with Neonatal ICU experience; BSN strongly preferred. Magnet Hospital with a focus on high-quality newborn care and multidisciplinary collaboration; duties include hiring/training, evaluating staff, ensuring adherence to care plans, and aligning staffing with departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing
- 2-5 years experience in Neonatal ICU
- Bachelor's degree preferred (BSN)
- Leadership/supervisory responsibilities experience (as outlined by role)
