Job Summary
Lead operational and clinical efforts on the Medical/Surgical Unit as Assistant Nurse Manager; ensure safe, high-quality patient care with focus on staffing, patient flow, quality metrics, regulatory readiness, and staff development. Partner with Nursing Leadership to manage coverage, drive patient experience and safety standards, support hiring and performance processes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prevent hospital-acquired conditions. Senior nursing leadership responsibilities include coaching, performance improvement, and ANCC-aligned professional practice standards.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Licensed Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Charge nurse experience within an acute care setting required
