Assistant Nurse Manager – Med Surg/Renal leads unit operations and staff in a fast-paced medical-surgical Renal unit, partnering with the Nurse Manager to ensure clinical quality, safety, and excellent patient service. Responsibilities include coordinating hiring, training, evaluation and discharge of unit staff; contributing to budgeting and unit initiatives; supervising as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse as needed; coaching/mentoring staff; ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical documentation quality; facilitating education on core measures and patient safety; and promoting continuous improvement of the patient experience. Requires BSN, Texas nursing license, CPR, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, with national certification in a specialty area or plan to obtain within a year. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and computer literacy are essential.”,
