ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER - INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)

Assist the Nurse Manager in assessment, skill proficiency evaluation, equipment and supply management, patient satisfaction initiatives, staffing, and scheduling. Support unit oversight by managing personnel processes, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Participate in developing performance improvement plans and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Effectively communicate information to staff, patients, and stakeholders while assisting in timely decision-making and change management. Collaborate with all departments as part of the management team. Utilize a personal cell phone for business purposes. Critical Care experience and an RN license are required, along with BLS, NIH Stroke, and ACLS certifications. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, with an active pursuit of an MSN encouraged.
