Assistant Nurse Manager

Implement patient care activities alongside the Nurse Manager and healthcare team while evaluating nursing care quality to recommend improvements. Monitor unit supplies, technology, and equipment usage, and ensure staff are informed of medical center developments for collaborative planning. Conduct leadership meetings, coordinate ER referrals, and participate in performance improvement activities. Assume full responsibilities for hiring, termination, and employee evaluation during the Nurse Manager's absence. This role supports clinical operations within a mission-driven network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in the Bronx, prioritizing equitable healthcare access for underserved communities.
