Assistant Nurse Manager, Full Time, Evenings, Bed Management, Atlantic Health Clinical Operations Center

Lead evening bed management and staffing coordination for the Atlantic Health Clinical Operations Center, ensuring compliance with OSHA, JCAHO, and federal regulations while optimizing patient throughput. Conduct daily collaboration with off-shift managers, manage staffing emergencies and call-outs, and provide direction during crisis situations. Evaluate protocols for redesign opportunities to reduce costs and enhance service, while supporting discharge planning needs for PTC and Atlantic Ambulance. Perform performance evaluations for the bed planning team, re-educate staff on competencies, and identify capacity bottlenecks to improve system-wide availability. Escalate concerns to the Nurse Manager and maintain harmonious relationships with nursing leadership across the system.
