Assistant Nurse Manager, Full Time, Days 6:30-4:30, Pre-op/PACU Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center Ambulatory Surgery Center

Manage day-to-day nursing operations by establishing personal rapport with patients, recruiting and training staff, and enforcing infection-control and medication protocols. Ensure quality of care through interpreting hospital philosophies, auditing patient records, and maintaining confidential information processing. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop long-term care plans while providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Achieve financial objectives by managing nursing supplies and completing preventive maintenance requirements. Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and answering health care team requests.
